Meet The Artist
Simple Studio Ceramics was born from a small living room studio and a big love for learning.
I began working with clay in 2023, and what started as a creative outlet quickly grew into something more. Drawn to the slow, tactile nature of pottery, I fell in love with the process of shaping functional pieces meant to be used and enjoyed every day. As my work evolved, so did the vision. In a dramatic turn of life events I have turned a new passion for clay into a growing career, sharing my love of creating and teaching with the community.
Today, all pieces from Simple Studio Ceramics are made by hand in my living room basement apartment studio, where each mug, bowl, and vessel is thoughtfully crafted in small batches. The name reflects both the space itself and the philosophy behind the work: simple forms, intentional happy designs, and pottery made to make you smile and brighten your space every day.
In addition to creating my own work, I teach pottery classes at both local studios in Kingston, Ontario, sharing my love of the craft with others. You can find my ceramics at markets and select small shops throughout the Kingston area, where I enjoys connecting directly with the community that supports her work.
